 Ciao ragazzi! Oggi nella nostra sede del GGM ci è arrivato un bellissimo regalo da parte del mitico Steve Vai: il suo autografo con dedica al GGM. Steve era di passaggio in Italia lo scorso mese per una serie di clinics promozionali per Ibanez. E' con onore che riceviamo i suoi saluti contraccambiando con un forte in bocca al lupo per tutti i suoi progetti futuri. Ringraziamo per la collaborazione Giuseppe, la spalla italiana di Steve durante quei giorni.

Founding Toto musicians and members to be inducted at Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville on October 12, 2009
David Paich,
Steve Lukather, Jeff Porcaro (In memoriam), Steve Porcaro, Mike Porcaro
and David Hungate will partake in the induction on October 12, 2009 at
the Musicians Hall Of Fame in Nashville.
Other nominees this year include Chet Atkins, Charlie Daniels, Billy Cox, Victor Feldman, Fred Foster and Paul Riser.
Previous inductees include The Funk Bros, The Wrecking Crew, Booker T and the MG's, The Memphis Boys and Al Kooper.
This is a
great honor for the founding musicians of Toto selected by the
Musicians Hall Of fame who have performed, recorded and written some of
the greatest songs in so many musical genres. The founding musicians of
Toto are well respected by so many of their great fans and many
national recording artists in the USA and all around the world.

We have had a few emails asking if lead singers were to be inducted.
The Musicians Hall Of Fame only inducts musicians. Lead singers that
are not known for there ability to play an instrument are not inducted
as a musician. Example: Glen Campbell was included as a member of the
Wrecking Crew induction in 2007 as a studio musician, not for singing
Rhinestone Cowboy or Phoenix. Who performs with the inductee(s) at the
award show is up to them, not the Musicians Hall Of Fame.
